    Hey Jordzz,

Difference between stock and stage 1 is night and day. Unfortunately the res delete is sold. I do have the 034 dogbone motor mount still for sale which is an amazing upgrade. Willing to take any offers on that. I’ll go stage 2 when this COVID business sorts itself out as I feel the little motor could breathe a little better. If you haven’t done already the lowered springs and swaybar are a very worthwhile upgrade.

New addition yesterday. 034 Motorsport X34 front air cooler thingy. Looks a treat. 034 Motorsport downpipe installed today. Getting stage 2 tuned as we speak. She’s a bit louder.

I was actually amazed at how big the stock cat is. And what a bitch it is to get out. Do not attempt this on your driveway.

Update. Took it for a drive this afternoon after the APR stage 2 high torque update. I decided to be a douche bag and get the crackle and pop file. Actually glad I did at this stage. The APR crackle tune isn’t as over the top like others I have heard. Driving in race mode makes me smile. Torque and power comes on way earlier, the stage 1 high torque file has a lot of punch but now after giving this a whirl with the down pipe the turbo feels free to breathe, power delivery is so much smoother. Definitely not the hit you get going from stock to stage 1 but a very decent upgrade and something I felt could be improved over stage 1. The 034 Motorsport down pipe is a top quality piece of kit. Fit perfectly. It’s definitely louder with the Akrapovic exhaust but a good throaty louder if that makes sense. I’ll do some more testing and see how it goes. I was getting 3.5 seconds 0-100 at stage 1 level. Will be interesting to see what it gets now. Back to the crackle and pop file. In normal mode the crackles and pops disappear which is perfect. So far so good.

Hi Trent. I’ve done 99% of it myself. Angas Mitchell Automotive at Edwardstown did the downpipe and all my servicing. Have got many other VW’s I get serviced through him as well (work vehicles). Knows his stuff, does a fantastic job. I went through many mechanics before I found him. Have been going there for years now. Specialises in VW’s/Audi’s and other Euro makes. Highly recommend.

German Auto for the APR tunes. I’m quite certain Stage 2 APR is no longer available.

To do with new emissions laws in the states. There will be many more tuners to follow.

                            Hi Noah,

Got it from Volkswagen spare parts. Took a while to get it and by weight is probably the most expensive piece of plastic on the planet. Does fit perfectly though. From memory it was just shy of $600.00.
