Wagon Thule roof rack options

Has anyone got any experience with the Thule roof rack range on the Golf R Wagon?

I don’t have a sunroof.

I like the Thule brand but was disappointed to see that their through bar roof racks attach with straps rather than clamps.

Does anyone have any experience with the Rhino Rack bars? Or has anyone found a Thule clamp that fits?

Does anyone know if the Thule Evo Raised Rail will fit the Golf Wagon standard rails?
I’m in the country otherwise I’d find a dealer and try them out

I've got the Wingbar Edge on my R wagon. No issues whatsoever with the strap and they're the sleekest roof racks on the market right now imo... That said, the Evo's that I have for my Kodiaq fit on the Golf perfectly fine.

Second vote for the Whispbars, sleek and very quiet, I have the rail/flush bars, not through-bars like the Thule image shows.
(if you have sunroof, make sure whatever you get clears the sunroof when open)

My kit was S53W RAIL BAR: $389 RRP

+ K521W FITTING KIT: $16.9 RRP
Not sure if this kit is the extra height feet or the low feet. (The low feet still clear the sunroof as long as you place them in the correct spot)
