Golf Mk7 Steering wheel swap

So I have this Golf MK7 1.2A that have a blank steering wheel as below.


I managed to successfully swap over to this steering wheel below.


Buttons are not working.
Am I missing this harness?


I remember I only unplug the yellow connector and not the smaller black connector.
Is this the cause of my steering wheel button not working?

i am pretty sure for the steering wheel to work, coding are required too...
need some pointers here too...

btw the steering i retrofitted, is missing the circled wire too....
