  • Akrapovic Titanium Slip On

I just ordered my new Akrapovic Titanium race exhaust, I have seen some videos and man it sounds ridiculous. I have a downpipe and stage 2 tune happening next week, so I just got the cat back.

Has anyone on here got one of these exhausts? My mate has one on his rs5, so obviously it sounds stupidly good on his car, but still looks promising from the videos I have seen.

Also a couple of photos of my car for Dutch, to prove that I actually have a car lol.

Well apparently I am supposed to be good with tech, but can't figure out how to rotate these pics.

    With a rotate icon?

    No idea..

Look forward to seeing/hearing the Akra system. Particularly given VW is finally offering it on the R SE, but dealer's are requesting you re-mortgage your house to purchase one.

There isn't a rotate icon that I can see. I have searched far and wide lol.

Well a catback system for GTI is only $3500 which I think is very reasonable and $6500 for turbo back which I also think is reasonable.

Perhaps rotate prior to upload? I don't know.. I've posted 12,500+ pics and they've all been right way. Just sayin'.

That's not bad actually, be very interested to hear how it sounds.

I'm attracted towards something like the Armytrix systems so the sound matches the occasion; having had full time "on" exhausts back in the day on LS1s they were fun at times, and drove you nuts at others. How does costing compare..?

I'm interested as well. Although I'm getting old and think I like the quiet of my GTI.

Does Armytrix integrate with driver profiles? Or just RPM/TPS?

Pretty sure it's by separate remote fob/app on phone and usually three levels - stock, rpm level, or open full time.

I doubt I will justify the cost any time soon, I've gained a lot more satisfaction from my wheel upgrade and the budget's a little bare for the foreseeable future.
