  • 7-speed dry clutch DSG software update noticeable improvement?

I'm trying to gauge whether the $250 to update the DSG software on a 2013 103TSI Highline is worth it. The only issue I have is that it intermittently seems to slip a lot on medium load shifts up slight hills. It's perfect at WOT so I'm confident it's a software calibration shortcoming and/or bad learning/adaptation.

Change the clutch pad and re-adaptation will help

Changing the clutch disk is unnecessary. It is crisp and fast to shift at full throttle where it needs to hold the most torque. My question is more do people notice the improvements made in software updates?
