VW Golf Highline Mk7.5 - DUAL LED Daytime Driving Lights???

Hi guys,
First time VW owner here.
Got my Golf Highline Mk7.5 a couple of months ago and I've just noticed only the outer LED DRL/Signal works. The other (inner) LED are not working at all. Is it a fault? or they are disabled on Golf Highline? Can someone confirm? Thanks.

The double drl are only enabled on the golf gti,R and alltrack premium models

I think you can enable through obd11
I have the double drl on mine and its very cool the single drl looks lame in comparison

Is yours a Golf Highline? Just wondering whether the inner LEDs are "dummy"? or actual LEDs which just need to be enabled?
Can I get them enabled by service dealer? I don't have OBD11.

I have a golf alltrack premium which means i have the double drl as stock

I think it,s just a matter of coding for you to have double drl but don't quote me as i have not done it myself

Check out the vcd's tweaks thread and post a question there lot's of knowledgeable folks there who could help you out

I have been advised that the inner drl is totally non functional and cannot be switched on by any means. apparently there are no leds even in the strip. VAG decided it was a point of difference be

That's my suspicion. Thanks for confirming. Might get a Carista OBD2 to play around.

I had all my codes looked at when I got the car and got traffic enabled etc there was nothing listed for inner drl activation on the highline. they are different light units apparently.

Rufus1000, I have purchased the 2019 golf gti, again inner drl not working. Dealership is near unresponsive. I can understand the high line not having the drl, but the gti is a concern.
Any thoughts if the centre drl was disabled on the 2019 gig.

I just picked up my MY19 GTI with all the options and the inner DRL does not turn on. Not sure how to get it working.

Well, looks like VW Australia has managed to con their customers yet again. They have actually removed "Dynamic Cornering Lights" from the GTI and left it for the R only. Headlights are not mentioned anywhere on the VW website to prevent customers from even thinking about the headlights during their purchase. You can only find this out by downloading the GTI/R specifications brochure. You have been conned. Sorry.

Just had it confirmed, 2019 gti inner drl’s Are not activated in Australia. The inner lights are not connected and are duds, bum.
