GTI - Door trim LED and Alarm LED wired wrong

So I recently bought myself a mk7 GTI which has a small niggling issue in that on the drivers side,
the little alarm LED lights up when the door LED strip should light up, and the door LED strip flashes when the car is alarmed.

I am assuming that the little alarm LED has been wired up to the interior illumination circuit instead of the alarm circuit, and the drivers side led strip is wired into the alarm circuit.

Does anyone know where these are plugged in, so that I can swap them around?
