Golf GTI MK 7.5 Colour

Hi all, I'm currently driving 2014 Polo 77 kW TSI Pearl Black and about to confirm my order for Golf GTI MK 7.5 DSG this week.
Just confused between Indium Grey or White Silver Metallic colours! White Silver Metallic GTI is available right away with all optional packages I'm after (Driver Assist and Infotainment with digital Active Info Display).. I may have to wait a little longer if I go for Indium Grey.
White Silver is very unique/different colour (looks different under different light settings day/night/cloudy weather etc)! It almost looked like it has been primed but not yet painted when I saw it under cloudy low light weather outdoors.
I would love to hear from someone here who already owns a car with White Silver Metallic.
What colour do you have? I understand its a personal choice but I am keen to know what others prefer, especially GTI enthusiasts.

I have driven the gti in white silver metallic colour and i have to agree with you on the "it looks like it been primed and left alone after that"

Not a colour i would have for myself in fact if it was that or no gti i would not have one i dislike it that much

Purely a personal preference of course i know some who love it but i think the grey looks nice esp when coated with pomponazzi

Nice car tho the gti you will be happy it was nice and zippy at phillip island

Primer white might be ok if the car is done up for a show otherwise it will suffer on resale.

Red is always nice, classic GTI color.

Ditto white I guess, and I've ended up Oryx this time around.

I'd be on the dark iron blue though if the choice was available for a GTI, or probably back to red.

I love grey + red and black + red, I have a black phone with a red case, black lanyard with red airpod case, black smart watch with red band... You get the picture. I went with an Indium Grey GTI, then the lux pack red and black interior.

I saw a silver white R on Monday and yesterday (getting its paint protection done at the same place as my car was being done).

I thought it looked really nice. A subtle version of pure white. It’s like a very pale grey with a glassy finish. I’d consider it over a pure white car (my R is pure white).

Thanks everyone for your input.. I went with White Silver Metallic! Tried to get Grey but it wasn’t available soon enough with all the options I was after! Pure white was also available right away. However, if I had to pick between white or white silver metallic - I’d only choose white silver metallic.. and that’s what I eventually went for!

I was after a grey GTI fully optioned and my broker there was only one dealer on the east coast with one otherwise I could be waiting until next year! I didn't wait...
