Check my car in for service today at 125,000km. The dealer advised they are giving me a new compressor. Not sure what the problem is but the twice last year the air failed while I was driving. It was OK the following day. The problem has not occurred. Glad I bought the extended warranty. Does anyone know what it would cost to put in a new compressor, if it was not under warranty?

Wasn't there a recall on air cond compressors?
I know I replaced mine with a revised part within the warranty period.
