Gloss black interior trim (Like Polo Gti)

    Gloss black interior trim (Like Polo Gti)

    Has anyone seen or tried to match the glossy black trim like the Polo has? I'm tempted to rip out all the console trim and spray them black gloss or plasti dip them?

    Wondering if anyone has seen it or done it?

        Awesome find... however that looks like its a capping over the normal dash. I would like paint over it with plasti dip

          you wont get that finish with plastic dip..

              why dont you just use vinyl ?

                yeah I know but you wont get that so called piano black finish from plastic dip even with the so called glossifier.

                  Really?

                  I'm planning on doing side mirrors like the R's so I will see how that looks?

                  My concern was the little icons they will get covered?

                  Were can you find these stickers or cappings?

                    Yup....dont like that stick on look. Too thick. Too obvious.

                      I'm not sure if it's cool in polo but it's too ugly in golf 7 Highline.
                      Golf 90TSI MY12, DSG, Candy white, Denver alloys, Pirelli P1 cinturato, RCD 510, R-dash led licence plate lights, 35/40% tinted windows, GTI OEM tail lights, fog lights, Etuners stage 1, chrome exhaust tips.

                          Yeah it does but something tells me that they went for the more Polo look in the MK7's, thing is the centre console is different and there is way to may voided dash space. The glossy finish looks to bad once you get fingers all over it.

                          Good find on the R too... see looks awesome. Personally I would leave the gear stick and just do front, left and right trim.
