anyone installed a stone guard behind the front grille?

Hi all,

After recently having to replace my airconditioning condenser due to a hole in it (stone went through spaces in front grille), I was wanting to install a barrier behind the grille to stop this happening again. I've looked in the how-to section but can't find anything

Cost to replace condenser including parts, labour and re-gas was $1100.
