Mk 6 Mudflap costs!!

Hello all.

Having just retired the Mk 2 GTD to the show and polish duties, it was only fitting to replace it with a new GTD. So, much to the horror of our bank account we now have a Mk 6 GTD DSG! The wife loves it (me to but my Mk2 still rules!). Question.. Where can I buy 4 mudflaps for the MK 6, as the dealer was wanting $260+ for a set!! Thanks all!

I just got rear mudflaps only to help keep the backside a bit cleaner and installed them myself. Think it was around $80 from the dealer.


Next best place to check is eBay or just search Google. For OEM stuff you'll probably be buying from overseas.



PS don't ask them to quote you for weather-shields either

I'm thinking about getting 4 flaps as well.. The underside and rear gets a lot of dirt in a short amount of time after a clean.. are there OEM flaps available that are color coded?

...I doubt that. The black would be my choice - more practical.

Why do Australians pay through the nose for items that only cost a few dollars to make ?
My grand daughter has just bought a Hyundai Getz a 2009 model it had no flaps. a quick Ebay search found some in Korea genuine ones straight from the factory to my door including postage was $39.90 for 4,
made from the same material .

You can buy these genuine rears from the UK delivered for $66.
