Golf GTI MY12.5??

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering what the difference is between the MY12 and the MY12.5?? I assume they must have changed something?

I went to a dealer today and I was fairly certain he didn't know a Golf R was AWD and he also spelt Xenon with a Z so I thought asking him would be pointless??

As far as I'm aware, nothing's been announced for MY12.5 as yet (assuming there are any mid-cycle changes this time around).

my-gti.com frequently has the info soon after it's released by VW, so if you're keen to know, check that site out regularly.

How do we know that the car is MY 12.5?

Each range of cars will have a cutover date. If your car is manufactured after that date, it's a 12.5

Yes, i understand that. What i was asking is from "which week" the car will be considered as my12.5??? I found some GTI's on carsales.com already advertised as my12.5!!!

The bulletin includes those dates.

It's not official now.

I wouldn't believe what's put on carsales by dealers as at the best of times, they wouldn't know the difference between one model to the other. When I ordered mine, sales guy didn't even know bi-xenons now come with LED DDL.

How much did you have to pay for your specs?

That's almost the same specs I would like, with the exception of sunroof and leather. I might add the Autopark feature for the missus

I paid just under $53k with corporate discount. This is the best i could find after searching/negotiating in 2 states (Vic & NSW) and 1 territory (ACT) for almost 4 months.

Wait till june sale , you will get all on roads free saving $4k to $5k , plenty stock in june or on the water .
