flashing footwell lights- any advice

did a search, nothing really informative.
basically the passenger footwell light started intermittently flashing/ blinking (once) a few times while driving back home tonight. it basically blasts full brightness for a second or two and then stops, like some supernatural ****.
anyone have an idea, only on the passenger side.
all stock stuff, nothing changed

Supernatural!!!! mate your car is possessed and thinks it a strobe light at a pole dancing competition!!! Na seriously, check connections to light, check bulb contact points, if it still does it scan for errors.... if all fails, become pimp.... take advantage of those flashes!

yeah, ill get down there and check, but no one sits in that seat so its ahrd to think that anyone would have touched the light. in fact, the footwell light still lights up, it just goes to full blast intermittently. and then back to normal

Mine has done this as well, a couple of times - just as you described. I ran a scan with VCDS and found nothing. And haven't noticed it in the last 6+ months. I wouldn't be concerned.
