whats with this sudden push for convertibles from VW..? eos, golf, and now gti and r - im not a fan of any of them asides from the eos (albeit the old shape, the new shape looks the same as the golf version :S) and i liked the eos old shape more than the new one, they all look the same now :S

Let me take a stab at answering that one...........maybe its because VAG perceive there is a demand for such cars. My guess is they would be right......they don't get it wrong too often do they? If I'm not mistaken, each generation of the Golf has had a cabrio version (if you include the Eos as the equivalent of a MK V Golf).

If you like the Golf GTI or R, and you also like cabriolet's, then these can't be that bad!
