Rear interior lights - Golf GTi. Are they backlit in red?

Simple questions chaps - the front reading lights and central lights switches are backlit in red at night.

Can anyone check with the rear reading lights as to whether these are backlit in your car? It could be either way, but would just like to check. It bugs me they are not, but only because I would like them to be, and I'm rather loopy when it comes to knowing if things are working or not. Hence the question.

Can others with GTi's check to see if they are or not?

lol Ryan_R! Yeah... I'm a bit like that too. The only time I've ever been in the back of my R is when I vacuumed it and then did the leather cleaning and conditioning!
