    Mine has done it twice, wasnt raining but it happened as i hit a largish bump/indent on the road surface
    so has something to do with the window being jarred or bumped.

        I've booked a time for my dealer to inspect and then order the required parts. They were surprised that it's still recurring on my brand new MY11.5

          I usually keep the sensor on but at the lowest setting (since I use the rain-closing feature), then i increase the speed/sensitivity when it starts to rain moderately.

          I often see this fault in VCDS too - not sure what it means exactly:
