      it does make sense to be passengers side, by default....but cant recall if i placed an indicator when i used to park...will pay more attention tonight to try it before driving it back to the VW service....

                thanks all it seems now indicator has to be used for the car to scan driver's side otherwise it wont park. thanks all problem solved!

                  I thought only the overseas models have PA on both sides, have to go and play around with it some more

                  Only the newer cars with the new MFD software has that option. We have to use the stalks to turn it on/off.
