Official Golf MK6 Picture Thread - 2nd Edition

Had it for about 12 months now. Just clocked up 7000kms as it isnt used as a daily driver, its saved for weekend and roadtrips. Currently has APR Stage 1 ECU and Stage 1 & 2 Carbonio Carbon intake. Planning on wheels and suspension, then exhaust and intercooler. That'll be it I think.

Spent the afternoon at a Performance Driving course with DAL344 and a mate in his Mazda 3 MPS. Very enjoyable and a pretty wet day by the end of it. A nice variety of cars there, Porsche GT2, Lexus ISF, Falcon GE6 Turbo, WRX, Mazda 3 MPS to name a few.

With our unofficial timing both the Golf R's proved to be the fastest around the circuit, i'm sure aided by the damp conditions and our awd but many a comment was heard from some of the other drivers as to how quick our cars were.

A few pics taken of the day when the track was at it's driest. I do have heaps of video so will try and post some runs at some point.

It's 23:15... I would have expected photos by now!

I only just got home an hour ago lol! This car is fantastic! Cant wipe the grin off my face The dealership done a great job with the tinting from what I could see (will inspect in more detail tomorrow in daylight) and they also fit the Lakin brackets + covers perfectly! Very happy with the whole handover process. There don't seem to be a nick on the body as far as I could see (again.. will reinspect tomorrow).

I managed only one snap in all the excitement. Will give it a good wash on Saturday and post some real pics! Damn rain in Melbourne..

Took some iphone pics on the way home from a quick wash today. Went into a back alley to take them and was mighty self-conscious! Extra points for noticing my new subtly positioned VWWC sticker- you can almost almost see it in the second pic.
