I wonder if we can't call it a "DSG Shift Mode Control Lever" or something other than 'knob'...?

I'm just not sure I come to these forums to find a bunch of guys talking about their knobs - and posting pictures of them!

Hi, I am looking to purchase either MY11 or MY11.5 GTI. Does MY11 also come with LED DRL's when bi-xenon is optioned? I've read through some threads here and noticed MY11 had the new DSG shifter? I think it was Markwid's MY11 GTI..

the led drl's with xenons were introduced in the my11.5 build. none of your my11 builds will have the led drl's.

Mine is MY11.5. It was built in Jan-2011. New slimmer shifter and LEDs if Xenon.

Climate Knobs changed in MY12 Golf???

In the dark recesses of my mind, having driven (on Monday) and now signed for a new 118FSI Golf DSG (due to pick up tomorrow) I seem to think the two rotary knobs for the Climate Control A/C have changed from those with "chrome notched" rings to plain black rotary knobs.... am I right in that? Would be a slightly disappointing cosmetic downgrade in the MY 12 if so...dont you think? If so, maybe I could buy two of the chromed notched types that appear in the Golf brochure and replace? Or am I just wrong?

I know it's "only" an 118FSI DSG with Sports Pack and RNS Sat Nav - but I AM very keen (excited!)...

There was a change from chrome to matte black rotary dials in the MY11.5 revision. No such changes for the MY12 revision.
