Had a day off today and finalyl got around to installing the RNS510 and 9W3 BlueTooth that I got from eBay a few weeks ago (not raining for once).
I am checking to see if there are any members in the East/South-East Melbourne region who would like to assist with the necessary coding to finish the job. I'm happy to reimburse you for your time and assistance.
Here are a few pics I took along the way:
After removing the fascia (sounds like you're going to break it when you remove it)

The BlueTooth unit sits behind the A/C controls for an easier install:

Most of my day was spent running the microphone cable for the bluetooth/voice control. I started from a midway point just past the A pillar trim. I pulled it back just far enough to slot the cable in, all the way down to next to the fuse box, where I had removed some of the trim.

I then had a whole lotta fun trying to get the other bit of cable through the roof. I found some other stiffer cabling and pushed it up through the hole where I had removed the overhead compartment (no pics, sorry), and pushed it towards the trim on the driver side door. Once I got a hold of that, it took 3 or 4 attempts to tape the microphone cable in just the right way so that I could pull it back through.
Hey look! My car is [partially] Italian

The other end of the cable easily feeds under the steering wheel and back through to where the head unit is. You can open the drivers storage compartment under the light switch (where I figured out today that my sunglasses fit in there) to help pull the cable through.

In all my excitement I forgot to take pics once the install was complete, but I'm sure you all know what the RNS510 looks like already.
If you do have VAG Com, I'd love to hear from you either below or via PM
