  • Little things that p!ss you off!

Well two weeks have gone by now and I have found two thing that p!ss me off.

    1) No screen behind slats on the front bar so all the bugs go straight through to the cooler/s which is hard to clean and looks ugly.

    2) No detent on D to N on the DSG so easy to find neutral. Worse still if it is in neutral at the lights foot has to go on brake to get D again. This is ar$e about and pain as the car crawls when you release the brakes so it is nice to put the car in N on flat ground rather than standing on the brake pedal.

Really minor stuff I know but the bugs bug me because even after a few years there were virtually no bugs in the coolers of the last two cars I have owned.

    1) isnt that the same as most cars?

    2) put the hand brake on maybe? (probly not a great idea if the clutch doesnt disengage though?!) Either way you wouldnt need to put much pressure on the brake pedal as this does release the clutch. I dont see why it would be so annoying? Even on a normal auto youre not supposed to put the car in neutral at the lights.

My answer would have to be "threads like this". No offense intended, but there are enough threads around for people to have a whinge and complain in (and they do).
If someone can give a legitimate reason for this thread to be open, feel free to PM me, otherwise if you have a specific valid thing to discuss about your cars, do it in the thread which is for that topic.

Edit: I thought I'd mention that Logger has made a post here which discusses the "2nd frustration" that clubbie mentions in his post.
