I was thinking of putting Chrome/Stainless Exhaust Tips on a 90 TSI. Currently they look pretty ugly bare. There are some generic ones on eBay. Anyone has any recommendation?

Take your pick, it comes down to personal preference.
Yeah, I have to agree wtih Maverick here. This thread is about as pointless as the 20+ "which wheels should I put on my Golf x" in the MK6 forum alone!
As with anything like this, every single person will have a different idea about what looks best and what to do etc.
Thanks guys. I'm not looking for anything fancy.. just anything chrome or stainless to cover the up the tip. That last one with the word "silver" looks good. I'll try that. Thanks..
Does anyone know if the exhaust on the Golf TSI Comfortline comes in chrome. On the Golf brochure it looks chromed but I have noticed this is not the case with cars on the road. If it does not is this available as an accessory?
The Polo GTI exhaust tips should fit - ask your dealer.
I went to ask my dealer who was not much of a help. He was not even willing to check to see if the Polo exhaust will fit. Told me to go shop around for 3rd parties who specialize in exhaust systems. I am still shopping around.

Here's two threads about them, you can sus out your options based on these:
just drop into an exhaust shop,
they've usually got a stand with a variety of tips to choose from.
or you can try autobarn or similiar for a clamp on style one.
