Going back about twelve months ago in Brisbane on my way home from work, a pair of bogan dead****s in a 6 cylinder VK commodore told me my GT Sport was a girly car... At the next set of lights I asked them how they liked getting smoked by a girly 2 litre turbo diesel. I may have also made mention about the piece of fibreglass that they had bolted to the boot of the commodore for downforce lol

Gotta love stereotypes, maybe they probably are a bit girly. I see more chicks in Golf's (GTI included) than blokes. But then again, you see a ****load of boganettes (just to keep the stereotype thing going!) driving HSV's cos the bogan only gets to drive it on weekends so its really a load of crap!

I'm not familiar with some of the car models you mention, since I'm in the U.S. It's probably a matter of preference, but as a female, If I were getting a first impression of a man and looking at his car, I'd likely have a better first impression of that man if he drove a GTI than if he had a muscle car that he'd altered so that it was particularly noisy. It would seem more adult and refined to me. But, I can't speak for all females.
