For future reference - new side mirror (1 off) $730 fully painted and installed including whole new side mirror assembly.

ouch. i lost my driver side mirror when parked on a main rd on my mkV gti about 18mths ago . cost me $450 in total supplied and installed as good as new. that was from solitaires service and parts at mile end in adelaide.

Yeah I probably copped the premium going to the dealer and getting everything done there, but I had other issues that needed looking into (i.e. faulty MDI and exhaust rattle)
