GTI "Lights & Vision" package

As the title states what does this include? I have just noticed it on the order for my new GTI which was one the dealer already had on order.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Aah - ok, that makes sense - hence why it's not in the Australian brochures!

Yeah - the USA get a really basic GTI in some respects. It doesn't even come with the auto climate control aircon as standard - they just get the old manual aircon!

For USD$21,000 I could live with the standard AC system! That's over AUD$20K in savings!

They also get rear side airbags as an option which we don't etc..

yeah - very true - but no use getting into USA vs Australian pricing and spec in depth, because it's another one of those pointless things we can never change

Thanks for your help everyone. I had been looking on the Volkswagen Australia website and through brochures for specs etc and could not fine it. Now i know another example of the wonderful help that is provided on this forum.

I've seen this listed in some new car descriptions on Carsales but never knew what it was as I too had not seen it as an option in any of the Aus spec material.
