I think the GTI driver needs some lessons, the Mini was hugging the apexes and GTI-san must have thought he was driving a bus - really bad driving line!
The drivers are from the Jap GT-300 and GT500 series in japan.
Will be interesting if they ever get the megan, Focus, and R20 together.......
Well i own a RS Megane 225 Cup at the moment and i am no M Schumacher, but i did absolutely obliterate a S2000 at Wakefield last year. I don't think that the GTI and Megane are that much different on the track (i could be wrong)!!! Anyway, my point is that the Japs are known to be biased towards their own and i really think that had the guy in the GTI driven better lines, i honestly don't think that the S2000 would have caught him......looks like a set up to me
2010 White MK6 3Dr GTI Manual - 18" Detroits - Sunroof - MDI - Bluetooth - Delivery May/June 2010
That was really frustrating to watch! The guy in the gti has NO CLUE! lol
It might have been caused by understeer of the car but given the Scirocco shares much the same as the GTI, it was rather amusing to see the GTI being unable to stay on the apex. The new XDL on the GTI is also meant to help improve cornering so dunno wat happened there...
