Now you've done it, Apple will either kick your door down and take away all your computers, phones and any Apple products, sue you for using his name in vain or they'll force you to give a 10 minute apology online for making fun of their leader. If you're really unlucky they will send you to their iphone factory in China where you get to work covered in toxic chemicals and if you don't die from those you will either leave disabled and unable to work again or will throw yourself off the factory building.

A truly wonderful company that sues everyone to try and ensure that they retain their profits. Hence the comparison to Alpine's heave handed tactics on this site, rather than explain things from their side they go immediately on the attack of the person that posted anything that could be seen to be remotely adverse.

No, the MDI is audio only.

Pretty pointless when it would double the cost of the MDI for something only a few people would use with it being illegal in every civilised country in the world to watch videos when you're driving. I'd rather just have audio and keep my eyes for watching my speedo and the road.

I agree which is why I never bothered to get video in motion, and even when i had my aftermarket HU I didn't bother watching vids much. Would be nice to have for the odd occasions when you have to wait in the car, but not worth copping a huge fine (and DVD's are ok in the RNS 510). Just meant that for the effort of connecting a special 'media' device that it could have done both Audio and Video.

Has anyone heard of issues with the RVC and RNS 510 integration? Apart from this thread, more specifically the software and switching views/modes?

A couple of dealers have both mentioned having "issues" with the RVC and Satnav.

With regard to the above, isnt that why the active cruise control was developed!!
