Can't imagine it would be cheap. Our house doesn't even have an alarm... I just want the remote to unlock the doors - can't be too hard!

Maybe I should investigate that a bit more.

A cup holder that holds cups (cf Mk 4 cup holder)

The Mk 6 cup holder is **** house, the rear most spot is great and hold things well till you extend the arm rest. The spot closest to the front of the centre cup holder isn't deep enough and things fall over in it, think its time for a re-design VW!!!

Aren't they the same as in the MKV?
Are you using the bottle opener in the upper position to help support the cups?

Yeah I'm using the bottle opener, I assume its the same as the Mk 5 golf, dunno, never had one. I went from a 1982 Cresida to a 2009 Golf lolol.
