Booking the car in for one or two minor rattles etc and would be nice to do this at the same time.
I also have a rattle on either the rear passenger side door or the parcel shelf. Will they rectify it for you if you bring it in? I had my window tints dealer fitted so I was thinking maybe that's where the rattle came from.

There is a TPI on it, involves fitting a non-return valve to the washer nozzle.

In practise though, at least for the GTI they need to cut off the rear spoiler to do it.

The mk5 rear brake light use to get condensation in it which requires the rear spoiler coming off. I'm not sure why they even changed it from the mk5 washer but defeats the purpose if the spoiler has to come off now for the washer.

As long as they put it back on properly should be ok, my mk5 spoiler was lined up properly last time the dealer did it.

I also just noticed that i rear washer drip issue.

I assume there's a fix for it from the posts above. I just call up the service department and book it in for a fix?

I had mine fixed 2 weeks ago and all good now. Give the service department a call and book it in. It took 2 weeks for the part to arrive.

I brought my car in and supposedly had it fixed. But then I still see water marks on it every now and then so I'm not sure how effective this fix is... thankfully it doesn't really bother me much!

It must bother you if you got it fixed.

I did too but haven't washed the car yet so not sure either but under warranty and they don't need to take off the rear spoiler which is good.

                        Rear Washer Drip

I noticed something with my mk 6 GTi.

At first I thought it was a one off thing but every time I push the car hard around 5k rpm the rear window washer drips.

Its always doing this, doesn't matter if i'm going round a corner or just accelerating on a straight.

                        Anyone has any ideas??

Do a search on "Rear Washer Drip" before starting a thread of the same name... you'll find the answer to your question
I merged your thread into the existing thread for you

I got mine fixed under warranty (as per the TSB using the correct parts) but it didn't seem to fix anything... still leaves a water stain on the rear window.

Waste of time taking it to the dealer really, as they didn't fix a rattle I wanted fixed either
