RNS510 colour change

Hi guys,
I recently picked up a VCDS for my mk6 and been playing with it and its quite a useful and good tool.

I also found out how to change the theme's; highline, sportline & premium.
But one thing i wanted to know i selected sportline and it only comes up red.

I want to have the blue background.

Ive tried picking premium resetting the unit then picking sportline again hoping that would solve the problem and change the colour of the theme but with no luck.

Would anyone here know what i have to do inorder to get the blue theme.

Can you use your VCDS to active the needle sweeping (staging)? I think it needs the latest beta version of VCDS.

I would presume that the RNS-510 would need to actually have the graphics available for additional themes in different colours - so not sure whether it is just the case of changing some setting in VDS.

The reason I don't believe it's just a setting change is that even in the Golf R, the RNS-510 has a red theme. Since 'Blue' is the 'R' theme, you'd think of it were available it would be set that way.

Having said that, if someone DID know how to do this, I'd be interested since I intend on getting an R

That's three threads you have now posted asking hte same question. Please read the forum rules, and don't spam the forum with multiple threads.

As coreying has said, the RNS510 has only the three themes that I am aware of. My R does not have a blue theme nor do any of the several RNS510s I have coded in any other R36. Mine is changed to Premium.

It's interesting, because it appears that when using the 'Sportline' theme that you can change between red, blue, orange, green and maybe purple?!

I don't believe so, it just uses different colours to highlight different parts of the system.

In the premium skin that i run, the radio and media is black with red highlights, nav is black with blue highlights, telephone is always green regardless of chosen skin, options are black with orange highlights, etc...

The premium does look the best I guess.... more fitting with the 'R' interiors than the Sportline anyway
