DSG gearknob wobble

Hi All

Long time lurker first time poster.

Purchased a Tornado Red GTi 6 (DSG, leather, 18" Detroits) two weeks ago and i have a question regarding the DSG gearknob.

I've notice a bit of a 'wobble' in it. Its not much but there's a little bit of play in it which I didn't notice when I first got the car, but may have been there. Is this normal? Anyone else notice this?

Which way does it wobble? (side to side or back and forwards)

Side to side. Just a bit. I'm probably being paranoid and it doesn't really make any difference to the drive, but it IS a new car and all that.

I just had a look in my 09 DSG Jetta and it does the same. It's not much but just a little sideways movement. I wouldn't worry.
