i have been looking up the http://www.advanwheels.com.au/wheels/wheel.aspx?id=5

an wanting to know if these will fit the mk6gti an the R when it comes out, they looks awesome but im not sure if the offest will work or not they come in dish an deep dish sizing can be found here http://www.yokohama.com.au/downloadf...px?fileid=7513

will the 18's be too big or too small? an how wide could u fit under the gaurds? with a little guard work.

    1. I doubt your going to fit 9.5 " wheels on your GTI.

    2. There is a comprehensive thread on this front page about rims.

Mod's can you delete my post and merge the above question from the OP

You still won't fit 9" width wheels on the Golf. Not without working the guards. 8" width with 235mm tyres is about the most you'll get without rubbing.

i am looking at getting these wheels too.

          but 5x112 PCD, 18x8.5" +45

the PCD you listed is for Jap cars and will need wobble bolts to fit. and those offsets will definately not work with our cars.

Yes you will! If you use a smaller tyre like a 215 or 225 with a little stretch then yes you will!

no Steve, that will be too pimp!

a 215 will look pretty cool, but i'd probs stick to 225 anyways.
