Shadow Blue was probably the least optioned colour of those available in Australia, so I guess they just dropped it due to low demand.
Blue is my favourite colour, but I got my GTI in Red because Shadow Blue is too dark imo. It looks good in direct sunlight, but looks way too dark on overcast days and is practically black at night.
