I have just put a deposit down on new GTI MK6
Carbon steel

sunroof
BT
MDI
ACC
Manual

Got it for $46000 but not to sure if I can push my luck a little further, have a corporate discount.

Keep hearing about the spread sheet but can't seem to find it to get the actual cost. can anybody help.

The spreadsheet will be able to help, but looking at the GTI sheet the on the road for a 3 dr, with those specs in NSW is around $51,300 so depending on if you got a 3 or 5 door (5 dr add $1500) then you got around 10.2% (thats with premium BT) so you've got a pretty good deal there.

So why didnt you go the Bi-Xenon, with all those other options they would've rounded out the car nicely.

I dont know about NSW but the Victorian counterparts enjoy a 3 'working day' cooling off period but the dealer may ask you to waive this if you feel you are 100% satisfied.

As for whether it is a good deal ask South Yarra, apparently they destroy everyones pricing if you are readyto buy straight away. It seems to be a reputation they have had for a while

The law is something like 10 days, but the dealer tries to enforce 24 hours.

Just make sure you do it within 24 working hours to ensure no arguments.

my family and extended family have always dealt with them when it comes to VW. They always have the best service and always give us the best price possible. I went to barloworld in moorabin and the guy tht talked to us was a complete ****ead....he told us tht there were no gti's in the white colour we wanted with our specs and we had to order the car and wait till like april.
We then went to South yarra and they got us the the car in three working days and gave us a better deal.
Was a good experiment trying barlowrold though. wont be going back tho.

The reason I went to Barloworld was South Yarra where way to full of themselfs and would not even look at discounting.

Deal is done now so just have to wait.
