So the moral of the story is to always check your balls first before looking in dark nooks & crannies in your undercarriage

I thought it might have been a very small German, caught under the spare wheel......

Thank you jausho, I tucked my balls in as well... Now they are secure, cosy, and don't whine one bit...
          Top Tip! Thanks Mate!

Some people have velcro'd their balls to the underside of the parcel shelf. I may do the same as that knocking noise is pretty annoying.

                Wouldn't that hurt?

Not if you rip them off fast (like a band-aid)

Wouldn't it depend on how fuzzy your balls were?

Just had a look but mine are shaven but wrinkly so velcro shouldn't be an issue. But I also don't have a lot of problems with them knocking around, perhaps mine don't descend as far as others? Maybe over time they stretch down and start knocking more?

The knocking has been bothering me since I go over speed bumps every day on my commute. When I had a passenger back there last week they opened the ski port and saw the balls swinging low. I just tucked my balls today to stop the knocking... perhaps this will now induce the "chirping" noise heard by many TSI owners
