If we were after 0-100 times, the DSG would be the way to go without a doubt

With ESP on, it just cuts the throttle fully & stops you near dead on the spot.

DSG does seem like a good mod in itself if you are into drag racing, but i still like 6MT. May look into it next time though (Golf R).

        Hi,

are you able to let us know if any of the ECU flashes can 100% eliminate the ESP?

No - because the engine ECU is not what controls the ESP.

Its the ABS controller primarily working in conjunction with the other ECU's.

We have in the past built a special file for people who do autocross vents that enables the throttle to function when left foot braking.

it will only affect 0.0000000000001% of the time it's driven but still................a leash is a leash.

hope theres enough feedback to VW to reconsider this in the future.

            Thanks for your reply Guy.

No problems! If there was enough of a market for it (and with the legalities it would have to be for "off road use only") we have someone who is willing to develop an interceptor for the ESP system - but can not get enough market support

what if you were to cripple the ABS system by disconnecting a sensor?

The system still operates AFAIK if some sensors are disabled by using preset values and throwing a warning light on the dash.
