Stock as a rock at the moment - we have to get some standard data out of it firstly, but then engine out, gearbox apart, stage 3 etc.
Having spent the weekend in it, you can feel the new XDL function working in the corners really well - a great improvement over the MKV

0 -100 is easy - the 400m time is a little harder!
I assume it hasn't been retuned yet?
All in all does seem more refined and better handling, hopefully no rattles/gremlins as well!
Is it just me or is the TR slightly different? The car feels a tad smaller inside, could just be the window/door controls protruding in more.

OK, latest updates are on:
Stage 1 installed, dyno complete, stage 2 installed (Carbonio Airbox & downpipe + High flow cat) - Dyno complete.
Acceleration runs : (0-100)
Stock = 7.2
Stage 1 = 6.6
Stage 2 = 6.2 seconds.
Found it extremely difficult to launch the car (Manual trans) - the balance between wheel slip, bogging down & short shifting was difficult.
Times were run on Racelogic Performance box, yesterdays heat (Stage 1 & stock) was 32.5 degree's - todays heat (stage 2) was 35.5 degrees.

Does the XDL cut in at all when you're trying to launch?

Seems like the MK6 electronic throttle/XDL seem to stop you from launching it? It is a bit more refined and some nice features.Last edited by G-rig; 21-11-2009, 12:47 PM.
