Yes, it was more surefooted but only if you push it to extremes (when you could feel the XDL kick in). I doubt that the majority of GTI owners would do that on a daily basis. The MkV wasn't shamed by the MkVI on the skidpan IMO.

That write up just makes me insanely jealous i didn't get the call up. Sounds like a great day.

After seeing one with 17's at the dyno day i am VERY impressed in the difference the 18's appear to make in your pictures. Look great.
