Floor Mats for the Mk6

Does anyone have any links to anywhere that sell mats that fit the 118TSI? Looks like my dealer has decided to forget/ renege on the after-sales offer of free mats.

No unfortunately. Originally didn't ask for mats and mentioned that in a separate thread somewhere... then Dermot from Wangara VW in WA offered me some before I had picked up my car from the dealer. I mentioned that to my dealer when I got the car (ie that a rival dealer would supply mats) and they said they would throw some in when they had them in stock. Now that verbal offer seems to be forgotten....

Floor Mats - Rubber

does anyone know if any local dealers or shops sell GTI Monster Mats?
I've tried my dealer and they dont even know what it is.
Also tried eBay, which was extremely expensive. Also not sure if they fit RHD vehicles or not.

You can't get them in RHD - only made in LHD. I've asked before. They are nice aren't they?

The OEM VW fitted rubber mats. You can get them from VW spare parts for $170 a set of 4. They are not bad.

They look like these except in black and with 'Golf' instead of 'Passat' embossed on them.

Sorry, I may be missing something here, but in the 60s and 70s your car came with rubber mats standard. You had to pay extra to get carpet or buy a higher model in the lineup.
Why would you want to pay $170 to take your car back to the 70s by fitting rubber mats? Is this a retro thing or a rubber fetish?

Much easier to clean rubber mates, especially if you're treading mud etc onto them.
