is the mk6 comming with 4motion?

hello, asking if the mk6 is coming with the option of 4motion.
because i remember that the mk5 had the option of adding in 4motion if you had the money.
(this was the case in europe)
now is the mk6 coming with 4motion?

Only MkV we got here in Oz with 4Motion (ie. Haldex) was the R32. Haven't heard anything about this being in an option in the MkVI on standard options here or overseas but I'm sure there's others who are more in the loop than I.
GTI-R or R20T or whatever it ends up being called has a pretty high chance of having 4Motion given that by all accounts it's going to be an Audi S3 in VW drag.

Its already available in Europe

It won't come here though (only in performance models)

Yeah, the 4Motion is available overseas on at least the diesel models.
But as already stated, the only 4Motion we get here is the R32.

4WD is a good option for those who need to drive on ice and snow or on dirt. But on asphalt, all 4WD does in a car with as little power as the standard Golf's have is use more fuel!
