Golf Mk6 info please?

I just bought a new Golf Mk6. Its not delivered yet. I need to find out the chassis number or type..

Does anyone know please? (Like the golf Km5 is 1K)
If you have a new golf, can you please check the VIN number and look at the 7th and 8th digit. That is the Chassis number..

I need to know that in so that i can purchase the right VAG COM interface. Im going to retro-fit a bluetooth and Media interface once I have my car.

Will post all the pics and stuff here when I do so.

If your car has been built you should be able to get the VIN number from your dealer and track the car online.

And the interface you need is the Micro-CAN. Or you can purchase the HEX + CAN which will do older cars but for basic use the Micro-CAN will do everything you want on the Mark V and VI.

Do a search on here and you'll find the tracking site and you'll need to ask your dealer for your VIN number to perform the search.

Would you mind telling us where the socket (to connect the VAG-COM cable) is located in a Mk V?
