Forum only readable to users

The server is being hammered again by crawlers, we are seeing tens of thousands of "users" online. Rather than give up and take the whole thing offline, I've switched it over so users must be logged in to even read the forum. I've also removed the ads completely once you're logged in since they are now basically worthless and annoying.

It's not ideal, but it keeps things online for now until I work out a better approach.

    What is the second bulb in the high beam/DRL chamber?

    I can’t seem to get answer online about this, weirdly. What is it and how do I change that?

    That's the parking/sidelight bulb, standard T10 5W type, and can be replaced by a LED with canbus compatibility.
    A bit tricky to locate & remove via the access port in the back of the headlight (particularly the LH side), but plenty of YouTube videos if you Google/Bing. Here's one link Vw Golf Mk6 Headlight Dipped/Sidelight Bulb Change - YouTube.
