  • Wingbacks TT-RS

I have a question which may or may not be answered I trust it will be

I have a good set of Wingback seats from a Audi TT-RS and with no airbags are they

Legal to fix on a Mk6 Gti with airbags .This question is worldwide but in terms

of Australian models . With the road authorities and Insurance Companies

    Thankyou

Best ask your NSW TMR technical section as to legalities but normally you may NOT remove, alter or disable any part of any safety systems in a vehicle. This would make it unroadworthy and therefore negate insurance

So I would think if your Golf has seat side airbags it would be illegal to remove them.

Likewise it is illegal to turn off DRL's when moving but some nitwits do it.

Be happy to be proved wrong but the above is the ONLY correct place to ask NOT HERE.
