  • Sticky goo on my windscreen

I just realised the dealership left some kind of sticky goo on the inside of my windscreen. I think it's where the interim rego sticker was stuck and I can't seem to remove it using my fingernails. Can anyone recommend me a safe way to remove this sticky substance from the windscreen?

A cloth dampened with methylated spirits should do it.

    Cheers

Ecualyptus oil OR another way I was taught is to use glad wrap (or plastic wrap), wet the window, stick the plastic wrap over it for about 30mins or so.

Citronella oil, or a razor blade.

He did the pre-delivery. Check your boot, might be a surprise in there for you as well.

If you use eucalyptus oil just don't drip any on the plastic trim or it will dissolve it !!! It's safe to use on glass, but if anyone has ever tried it to remove the left over price ticket on a plastic CD case, you'll know what I mean !!! It's pretty potent stuff

Yep - same for citronella oil. Eats through plastic like Pete Doherty goes through coke....

Sounds like it was the crappy "Krudd saves us all Fuel Consumption sticker" that left all the goo behind.
