3dr VS 5dr GTI - Why do 3dr look so bad?

The 5dr won me easily over the 3dr. Maybe because I already have a 3dr sports car & wanted a change.

Being a bit of purist ,the iconic GTI MK1 was a 3 door. Only ever seen the MK1 GTI in White or Silver .MKV 3 door is only available in the GTI & R32.Makes its a little special,purpose built and doesnt look like a standard 5 door hatch with the trimmings bolted on .GTI's are popular in Sydney and to date have never seen another 3door in Candy White ,very happy with my choice as it wont get lost in the crowd

Not true in Europe you could buy a four door. In France you could buy a 16V version too

In OZ the GTI and R32 are the only ones available.... elsewhere in the world, it is not limited to those models
