Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Experienced DSG LSD installer in Melbourne

    Hi all,
    I have a stageII+ GTI Pirelli which I'm keen to have an LSD fitted to. Problem is I can't seem to find any mention of installers in VIC who do this or have done it enough to be suitably experienced. Does anyone have any suggestion of places in Melbourne who can do this? I'm out west but beggars can't be choosers.

    I had a Wavetrac LSD installed there. They employ a mechanic who specifically works only on transmissions and lsd's. He has an extensive background in motorsport including F1 (lotus) and v8 Supercars(walkinshaw)
    Did a fantastic job have had zero issues in the last 2 years of running it. Have placed about 30 thousand kms on since install.
    GTI MKV, 3 pedals >D, black, leather, K04 APR tune , APR RSC tbe, BSH CAI, Bilsteins sports shocks, H&R sports springs, wavetrack LSD, H&R sway bars, and painted that stupid looking matt black plastic bumbers and side skirts to match the paint of the car
