Help me decide on which car

Good to see. Was just curious to know id this is the same B16A powered Mini that was featured in the Unique Cars DVD back at the end of 2006?
About the warranty. If it contributes to a failure on a car, then it will void a warranty, but as long as the APR tune is switched off, it is vertually undetectable to scan tools.

That wasn't mine unfortunately but I would love to have a look at it though, still deciding weather I should keep the car for a weekend fun drive / QR sprints or sell the car and use the money to fund the new GTI (when I buy it).

Also on the topic of modifying the car, does the GTI have a restricting exhaust/extractors? has anyone modified theirs? I always love working on my pride and joy (eg. my mini) mainly to have the car to be a bit unique and suit me. Does the GTI have any sort of turbo cooling system? Front or Top mount intercooler? I would love to work on my car and squeeze as many horses out of the engine as I can leaving the car as a daily driver.

How much did you guys get your GTI (brand new) out of the dealership? In total, just so I know how much haggling or bargaining I need to do to get the same if not better price.

Hello, a short little intro about me. I live in Brisbane and currently driving a 1968 Mini Cooper with a Honda B16A Vtec engine in it and owned it for 4-5 years now so I've finally decided for a new 'luxury' car.

have a look at http://www.goapr.com.au for some ideas of the things you can do to a GTI. APR is one of a number of tuning companies that sell intercoolers, exhausts, turbo upgrades, suspension, brakes etc.. possibilities are endless
