    Osram Nightbreaker 55w bulb upgrade

    Hey dubbers,

    To save a double post I added an opinion of my recent Bulb upgrade in my TDI in the diesel section. If anyone is after more light, I'd HIGHLY recommend the Osrams, and I replaced all the front bulbs for about $200 including spotties. Have yet to recieve the fog bulbs, but the Osrams, especially on low beam has been an amazing difference.

      Upgrade of existing headlight globes to Osram Nightbreaker +90's. I spent a week with one side upgraded (the passenger side - left for those who drive on the wrong side) to see the difference. Also upgraded the parking lights to Philips BlueVision W5W to make them white as well. Low Beam...

        Thanks Mav, it was your advice that made me follow with the Nightbreakers. You're right in that the photo's don't do them justice.

        My yellow spottie bulbs arrived, and they make a very noticable yellow light, looks very cool front on. At 70 watts a piece they certainly have some power over stock, and I'm sure they'll be of actual foglight use come next fog. Fancy that?

        Highly recommended upgrades.
