  • Dyno in Perth

    Hey Guys

Ive done a search and nothing came up conclusive so I thought I would ask the question.

Can anyone recommend or suggest a place where I can get my Jetta dyno'ed as I have just been chipped and would like to have a look at some numbers.

I am in Canning Vale so SOR is preferable.

    Cheers

yeah would be interested in a group dyno day for sure. Pls keep me in the loop.

Where in Canning Vale are you? Im down near the 'last drop' in Hampton Gardens.

I have been told to check out Pro Auto Performance in Canning Vale for the dyno. Ill give them a buzz today. Their website says they specialise in the ozzie V8's but we will see what they say.

Brookland Greens, near the golf course.

If Pro Auto specialise in Ozzie V8's then they probably lie about the results!! (kidding, my other car is an FPV)

          Dyno 4 diesel

Am trying to find a dyno too .. one that does diesels. Want to do a before and after "chip". X-speed in O'Conner is not cheap at $175 ... or is it? You guys are just down the road from Bateman

Surely there's not a significant difference between petrol and diesel engined cars where a dyno operator is concerned (unless you're also talking about tuning)...
            Nothing to see here...

yeah $175 seems a bit expensive.

Called a few places today and one in Welshpool was $120 for an hour and another in Carlisle was $99.

Ok did my first power run today (im still interested in coming to the group dyno though Gareth).

Im not putting this up to start a pissing competition or anything but just for general info. 170KW at the flywheel and 142KW ATW. I know there are a lot of variables with dyno but I am fairly satisfied with this.

At the end of the day I like how the car drives.
